MEM10105 Certificate I in Engineering

The Certificate I in Engineering will provide students with a taste of the industry before they embark on a qualification. The Certificate I will expose the student to the requirements for starting a career in the engineering industry and will enhance their prospects of employment in an engineering or related working environment. The course has been designed to provide the knowledge and skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, initiative and enterprise, planning, organising and self-management. You’ll also learn how to use industry standard hand and power tools.

Requirements for completion of this qualification

To be awarded this qualification, competency must be achieved in 14 units of competency made up of 4 core units of competency and approximately 10 elective units adding up to 24 points.
